Training

A research training BoA program to improve the career development opportunities for UoC young scientists, including in-depth research training in BoA through scientific exchanges between the partnering institutes, career-oriented mentoring for early career researchers to promote their success at the forefront of academics, industry, and biotech and career skills training sessions.

Capacity Building

Upgraded Research Support Office services to facilitate a proposal’s creation and submission, support on-going grants with a number of administrative details and enable coordination of large-scale, collaborative proposals.

Upgraded UoC Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO) services to assess commercialization potential through intellectual property protection and spin-offs, identify translational funding opportunities, connect UoC faculty with national and global commercial partners and familiarize researchers with the commercialization process.

Dissemination & Communication

Activities aim to

i) inform the public about the research* and non-research activities of the project and how these could benefit UoC and the local community;

ii) increase the public’s awareness and promote adoption of evidence-based strategies to improve health and quality of life of older adults,

iii) reinforce knowledge, attitudes, and dispel misconceptions about aging.
